Dress: Zimmermann (also love this transitional dress and this transitional dress under $100) // Flats: Ferragamo // Jacket: Nili Lotan // Sunglasses: AIRE
So Paris ended up being much cooler than anticipated and this outfit proved to be very necessary for the trip. I thought I might end up wearing this one of the cooler nights, but cut to me wearing this look 3-4 times while we were there! The dress and flats are both unbelievably comfortable and the jacket was worn almost every day!
It got me thinking more about some of the chic basics I am on the hunt for this season. Below I am highlighting my top five favorites that I have on my list!
I brought my first Nili Lotan jacket to Paris – and loved it! I’m now eyeing this cropped tweed jacket in this beautiful ivory hue.
Everyone is saying the ballet flat is back. I’m saying that it never left! I wore this pair of ballet flats in Europe, but have been looking at these under $100 for every day use!
I simply can’t own enough striped sweaters. Each season I tend to add one, or two, or five more! I’m loving the combo of the cable stitch and placed stripes in this cozy, oversized, nautical themed piece.
MOTHER denim makes some of my favorite jeans, and their Tomcat is my go-to fit. This new faded finish looks great back to easy tees and slides – a perfect jean for summer!
I’ve been searching for an updated strappy sandal and this one hits all of the notes. With its suede footbed, slight heel, tubular straps, and metallic toe loop, it is just modern enough without being *too much*. It is also available in four colors!
